Evaluation Questions

Evaluation questions

My finished product is different to my design as I worked my way through Photoshop I discovered that it would be easier and look better with some changes to the design.

Technology has helped make my design into a real product a lot if I didn’t have the technology I do I wouldn’t be able to create the magazine cover I used things such as a computer and a printer.

My product is defiantly suitable for my target audience and would be enjoyed by others outside my target audience this gives me the chance to have a wider range of customers.

Two challenges I have overcome are using Photoshop and another challenge I have done is how to research on the Internet.

Two technical skills I have gained are being able to create things on Photoshop and being able to convert things from paper using a scanner to a computer.

5 Possible magazine names

5 possible football magazine names

WORLD CUP- this magazine will get the attention because it’s the biggest football tournament ever
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE- this will also catch the eyes off all the supporters from the biggest clubs in Europe
FOOTBALL WEEKLY- this magazine will be about football in general about all leagues and standards
SCORE- a magazine about all the best goals in the month
3-5-1- just a general magazine about football

I chose CHAMPIONS LEAGUE because my magazine was about the final in Wembley and had two clubs from the Spanish league playing in England.

Target Audience for football magazine

My target audience for my magazine is male who enjoy playing football from any ages. My campaign is aimed at males from the age of 10 to 18. This kind of person would see promotional material in a shop or on television.

Permission to use photographs in a magazine

To use photographs of people you need to have a contract with that person or if they are under the age of 16 their parent or guardian for commercial use. in some countries it is illegal to use photographs of buildings with out a property release but if a famous building is included in a skyline a property release is not needed.

ASA CAP CODES

The ASA is the UK's most independent advertiser across all media. they work to make sure that all of their adverts are truthful. decent, legal and honest.

The codes of ASA use in its judgment's are CAP and BCAP, the BCAP is responsible for maintaining the UK's Code of Broadcast Advertising and the CAP is responsible for the Rule book The UK code of non-advertising

From 1st march marketing communications on websites will be regulated by the ASA.

a Coca Cola advert was banned because it was thought to of been misleading because it was branded as 'nutritious' as it contained all of the recommended daily allowance of vitamin C. One of the complaints though that the 500ML bottle of drink had 30g of sugar and in that case was branded as nutritious but as a matter of fact only had 23g.

when i make my own adverts i will need to check the ASA rules and regulations to make sure my advert comply with the ASA rules and regulations.

Football Boots advert moodboard

moodboard for football boots

these are a collection of images of Adidas Predator football boots. they are all different adverts but are all presented in the same way, with a view of the shoe on a background with nobody wearing them. The dominant colors are black and white.
In order to create an advertising proposal, i need to gather information about the company that makes the product, where it wants to be advertised, what it wants the advertising to achieve and how much it has to spend.

The advertising budget for my campaign to advertise Adidas Powerswerve football boots is £100,000.

i would like my advert to introduce a new product with in the Adidas range of football boots.
i intend for this advert to give great sales for the product.

the type of advertising campaign this product would suit is to have a famous footballer using the boots in a training exercise and showing them at there full potential. TV advert.

the print advert would be the football boot shown on top of the box with a shiny black background with a bright light to make the boot stand out the football boots would be white to stand out against the black.
My product is a Adidas Powerswerve football boot made by the company Adidas.
